Standard / Elite profiles

"STANDARD" PROFILES and "ELITE" PROFILES:

STANDARD users have a basic profile that includes 9 Game Levels in total, it is the "historic" and FREE standard system with which Burraconline was born and to which all subscribed user have access.

Users who want to enjoy of a more advanced dimension, rich of reserved features that aim to improve the quality of the game and the opportunity to interact more easily with other users, they can choose to join ELITE.

To convert a STANDARD nickname in an ELITE nickname simply click on "Switch to Elite" after login to Burraconline game.

The first and most obvious advantage of ELITE users is the access to two new profiles, each with its own ranking list composed of 19 positive levels and 3 negative levels, for a total of 22 levels.

Switching to an ELITE profile will NOT leads to the cancellation of the previous STANDARD level because this will continue to be visible in the details of the ELITE profile and will continue to increase in case matches will be played using the STANDARD profile.

2 PLAYER ELITE MATCHES, 2 PLAYER ELITE MATCHES AND ELITE SPECIALITY:

ELITE users will be able to advance in its ELITE level just playing at a table with other ELITE players. If any of the participating players at the table will not be ELITE, the game will be counted using the STANDARD system.

On the ELITE users's profile page will continue to be counted even the matches played using the STANDARD profile, with the related old level.

ELITE users have separate totalizators when playing 2 player and 4 player matches differently from STANDARD users that do not have such distinction

The most assiduous burraco players know that there is a huge difference between these two types of matches: the 2 player match requires an individual game strategy while the 4 player one needs a "couple's strategy" made of understanding and reasonings possible only through the experience and the harmony of the couple.

For this reason, ELITE profiles have separate counts, and actually they have therefore two different levels: one for 2 player matches and one for the 4 player matches.

Since each ELITE player has two different levels, the ELITE profile will show automatically by default, the points level, the animal level and the specialty corresponding to the best score between the two types of matches. The specialty therefore can be either "2 player Matches", or "4 player Matches" or "No one" in the case where the scores of the two specialties are equivalent.

"ELITE" AND "STANDARD" LEVELS PROGRESS:

Both types of levels (STANDARD and ELITE) are based on "points level", a system that assign the points according to a set of rules, but the ELITE system of "points level" assignment is based on completely different concepts from the STANDARD one.

The ELITE "points level" are much more balanced and conceived specifically to ensure a better match between the skills of the player and its relative representation as animal level.

FUNCTIONALITY COMPARE BETWEEN STANDARD AND ELITE LEVELS

  ELITE STANDARD
Access to ELITE rooms
× You have access to an additional server with 4 rooms completely dedicated to ELITE users.
Custom avatars
× You can use as your Avatar a photograph or another image uploading the file directly from your computer.

Displaying 'reliability index' of all players
× You can view the reliability index of all players (both ELITE and STANDARD).

Please note that the reliability index is obtained by a sophisticated system that is based on the following main points:
  • The percentage of abandoned matches
  • The percentage of won matches always with (or against) the same players
  • Any recent disciplinary action
  • The presence in the blacklists / friends list of the other players
  • Subscription date

Ideally, a user with a high reliability index is a user whose profile is not the result of an agreement with others, does not abandon frequently matches once started, is not a vulgar user and is an appreciated user inside the community for its general behavior.

The range that results can go from -100 to +100, where -100 (deep red) identifies an unreliable profile and +100 (bright green) one more reliable.

The reliability indices of one player may be different because the two profiles STANDARD and ELITE are independent of each other. The transition to ELITE, therefore, does not reset in any way the reliability index related to the STANDARD profile.

All new accounts start with an index equal to ZERO.

LEVEL POINTS ALLOCATION SYSTEM: DIFFERENCES BETWEEN "STANDARD" AND "ELITE"

Burraconline takes into consideration two types of matches (and users) which are called STANDARD and ELITE. To play an ELITE match it is needed that all the players are ELITE players, to play a STANDARD match it is enough that at least one player is a STANDARD player.

ELITE matches have a system of points calculation completely DIFFERENT from the one used for STANDARD matches.

HOW DOES THE ELITE POINTS ALLOCATION SYSTEM WORK?

The ELITE level points allocation system is related to the VICTORY POINT in order to provide an improved match between the players level and the real performance of them.

For the winning couple, the added level points will be the greater the more will have been the score achieved at the table.

For the loser couple, in the same way, the subtracted level points will be the greater the more will have been the score achieved by the opposing couple.

Through this system, who is at a loss will aim to remain at the table trying to make as many points as possible to "lighten" the burden of defeat, even because the abandonment of this type of matches will always be punished with 1 LOST MATCH and 2 LEVEL POINTS LESS.

As in Standard matches, is still valid the concept of minimum number of smazzate (deals) so that a match is valid for the ranking.

2 PLAYER MATCHES -> 3 SMAZZATE MINIMUM

4 PLAYER MATCHES -> 2 SMAZZATE MINIMUM

The player or the couple that at the end of the smazzate, set when creating the table, will have totaled more VICTORY POINT will have won the match.

In the event that the match ends in a tie (equal VICTORY POINT) the match is considered won by all players.

Match Point Victory Point Elite Level Points Match Point Victory Point Elite Level Points
0-50 10 / 10 0 / 0 505-650 15 / 5 +0,5 / -0,5
55-150 11 / 9 +0,1 / -0,1 655-800 16 / 4 +0,6 / -0,6
155-250 12 / 8 +0,2 / -0,2 805-1000 17 / 3 +0,7 / -0,7
255-350 13 / 7 +0,3 / -0,3 1005-1250 18 / 2 +0,8 / -0,8
355-500 14 / 6 +0,4 / -0,4 1255-1500 19 / 1 +0,9 / -0,9
OLTRE 1500 20 / 0 +1 / -1

N.B. To the level points in the above table you have to add 1 LEVEL POINT if you win and you have to subtract 0,5 LEVEL POINTS if you lose, on condition that the match has been completed without the leaving of the table.

ELITE Level Points - IN CASE OF WINNING OF A MATCH THAT HAS BEEN CLOSED WITHOUT THE LEAVING OF ONE OF THE PLAYERS:
  • The Level Points are calculated based on the scores gained as VICTORY POINT to which is added 1 LEVEL POINT ONLY TO WHO WON and subtracted 0.5 LEVEL POINTS ONLY TO WHO HAS LOST
    Example: if N/S won 12/8
The LEVEL POINTS for the N/S couple will be 0,2+1= +1,2
The LEVEL POINTS for the E/W couple will be -0,2-0,5 = -0,7
ELITE Level Points - for WHO REMAINS AT THE TABLE AND HAS UNDERGONE THE OPPONENTS LEAVING:
  • If more than 7 minutes are passed from the beginning of the match and the couple which has undergone the opponents leaving was in advantage but the match has NOT reached a minimm number of smazzate enough for the ranking: 1 WON MATCH and a number of LEVEL POINTS equal to the score accrued up to that point.
  • If more than 7 minutes are passed from the beginning of the match and the couple which has undergone the opponents leaving was in advantage and the match has reached a minimm number of smazzate enough for the ranking: 1 WON MATCH, 1 LEVEL POINT and a number of additional LEVEL POINTS equal to the score accrued up to that point.
  • If more than 7 minutes are passed from the beginning of the match and the couple which has undergone the opponents leaving was either on a level playing field or in disadvantage: 1 WON MATCH and 0,1 LEVEL POINTS regardless of the number of smazzate ('deals') reached.
  • If more than 7 minutes are NOT passed from the beginning of the match: MATCH NOT COUNTED and 0 LEVEL POINTS.
ELITE Level Points - for WHO LEAVES THE TABLE:
  • 1 LOST MATCH  e 2 LEVEL POINTS LESS, at any SMAZZATA (deal) it happen.
ELITE Level Points - for the PARTNER OF WHO HAS LEAVED THE TABLE:
  • If the couple who has leaved the table was in ADVANTAGE compared to the couple who remained at the table and which has undergone the opponents leaving: MATCH NOT COUNTED (neither won nor lost) and +0,1 LEVEL POINTS (consolation prize).
  • If the couple who has leaved the table was EQUAL or in DISADVANTAGE  compared to the couple who remained at the table and which has undergone the opponents leaving:  MATCH NOT COUNTED (neither won nor lost) and 0 LEVEL POINTS.

HOW DOES THE STANDARD POINTS ALLOCATION SYSTEM WORK?

The STANDARD level points allocation system is related to the match result (won/lost) and to the achievement of the minimum number of smazzate ('deals') valid for the ranking.

2 PLAYER MATCHES -> 3 SMAZZATE ('DEALS') MINIMUM

4 PLAYER MATCHES -> 2 SMAZZATE ('DEALS') MINIMUM

The player or the couple that at the end of the deals ('smazzate') set when creating the table will have totaled more Match Point will have won the match.

In the event that the match ends in a tie (equal Victory Point) the match is considered won by all players.

STANDARD Level Points - IN CASE OF WINNING:

To the winning player or to the winning couple is given 1 WON MATCH and 1 LEVEL POINT.
To the looser player or to the looser couple is given 1 LOST MATCH and 1 LEVEL POINT LESS

STANDARD Level Points - for WHO LEAVES THE TABLE:
  • 1 LOST MATCH and 2 LEVEL POINTS LESS (NOT ANYMORE MATCH NOT COUNTED in case who leaves the table is in advantage)
STANDARD Level Points - for the PARTNER OF WHO HAS LEAVED THE TABLE:
  • Always MATCH NOT COUNTED (neither won nor lost) and 0 LEVEL POINTS.
STANDARD Level Points - for WHO REMAINS AT THE TABLE AND HAS UNDERGONE THE OPPONENTS LEAVING:
  • If the score is equal to or greater than the score of who has leaved the table: 1 WON MATCH.
  • Alternatively, if the match had a minimum number of smazzate ('deals') enough for the ranking (see table above), and the team that undergone the opponents leaving was in ADVANTAGE: 1 WON MATCH and 1 LEVEL POINT.
  • Alternatively, if the match had a minimum number of smazzate ('deals') enough for the ranking (see table above), and the team that undergone the opponents leaving was in DISADVANTAGE: MATCH NOT COUNTED (neither won nor lost) and 0 LEVEL POINTS.
  • Alternatively, if the match has not reached a sufficient minimum number of smazzate ('deals') for the ranking: MATCH NOT COUNTED (neither won nor lost) and 0 LEVEL POINTS.

HOW DO I BECOME AN ELITE USER?

To become an ELITE user just click on the "Passa a Elite" button once logged into the Burraconline game.

If you do not have a Burraconline account, please SUBSCRIBE and DOWNLOAD the game by following the instructions on the home page.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AS SOON AS I WILL BECOME AN ELITE USER?

The most evident thing that you'll see is that your level will appear to be APPARENTLY returned to BUTTERFLY.

Actually, what you will see is your new ELITE LEVEL, so if you have just activated your ELITE account, since you have not played yet any ELITE match, you will start from the ELITE BUTTERFLY LEVEL.

Your ORIGINAL LEVEL will still be visible from your profile tab and you will be able to level up if you play matches against STANDARD players.

WHAT I WILL NOT HAVE IF I BECOME AN ELITE USER?

- You will not have better or worse cars than STANDARD players.

- You will not have more or fewer pinelle than STANDARD players.

- If you have connectivity problems, please note that they will be not solved becoming ELITE.

- In the case of occasional problems at the table due to issues on our side on which we are still working on, you will not be entitled to get back your lost LEVEL POINTS.

LEVELS:

Both types of levels (STANDARD and ELITE) are based on "level points".
